White gloaming of purity
invades the reflection of the percieved reality,
a haze of pale suffering divides the silent planes,
eternal blindness of obssesive attraction
that foists an eternal walk towards uncertain fates,
with steps marked by the chimes of tears.
Arms and legs dreary by the weight of its flashes,
forever chained to the static mirror of the past.
Bestial thunder announces the wrathful lightning
that mercilessly whips his drowsy back,
skin branded by the whip of hate that deforms his will,
penitent scourge that carves deeper into his old bones.
Yoke of darkness punishes his sins,
a weight of torment, wretched unwilling guillotine.
Open gates to the void, inert desires of past freedom.
Nostalgic self-destruction, voluntary slavery.
Written in response to the climate crisis, “Leviathan” is a brooding and beautifully unsettling batch of dark ambient songs. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 16, 2023
