Remember, those years of solitude long gone,
the chaos that held your actions and choices,
the unjustified hatred that bled from your mouth,
the eternal curse that chased you.
Remember, the mirage of her eyes,
embedded within a mirror image,
hidden over the nocturnal skyline,
forever present in your dreams.
Remember, that momment when you heard her voice,
the tender smile which drawn you to her,
the laughter and momments,
which made you linger to her side.
Remember, how after the failed quest, the light shone,
how you didn't mind your failure and woe,
how you didn't care about a single thing,
and all you wanted was stay next to her.
Remember, how you both stayed together in silence,
how you both chatted and laughed,
how you both told each other your love,
how you never dared to really mean what you sought.
Remember, how you would call her "Neurosis",
as she had embodied your dream,
how she would speak as if she had a thousand of years,
how would you zealously treasure her affection.
Remember that time, when the light seemed so close,
remember your eyes blinded by it,
remember how dumbstruck you were by her drugging voice,
and how you did wander until you couldn't hear it anymore.
And all I could do was that,
remember the days, the time I've lost,
for I have strayed from the path to the light,
and I found myself falling into this chasm of darkness.
I clutched to her hands, trying not to fall,
I tried to listen to her voice, as much as I could,
"I love you" she whispered, as we laid on the grass,
my heart trembled as the dusk fell upon us,
and just like the droplets of dew on a stroke of the sun,
she's just gone from my arms, she has left a silhouette of smoke.
I was taken away from you,
all the sound was noise, hum, that faded out in you absence,
my voice would break and clog my throat,
my words weren't worth to be spoken,
and all that was to be said, was held in silence, in fear,
vows were made in the altar of solitude,
as your memory enchained me to these fields of shattered glass,
as the pain condemned my skin to shed and bleed,
on the sacred plains of insanity, all of my madness laid and stood,
all of it but my Neurosis, for she was just gone,
in her sacred temple, enthroned as the memory that never was,
and clad in these silver blades now embedded in my flesh,
I can only remember how your hands felt,
how your body vibrated next to mine,
I could only imagine your voice,
whose words were slowly dragged away by the wind,
so bloodstained in this ashes of passion long burnt out,
I am condemned to see your eyes,
behind this window of pain,
for you I don't exist anymore,
and I can only wonder what our lives could have been,
if I only managed myself to stay behind the window,
that has split our worlds apart.
